Alaska: $1,702 PFD Deposit Scheduled for June 18

Thousands of Alaska residents are set to receive a $1,702 direct deposit as part of the state’s Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) program.

Who gets paid?

  • Alaskans whose 2024 (or earlier) application status is marked “Eligible – Not Paid” by June 11

What’s included in the payment?

  • $1,403.83 as the base dividend

  • $298.17 as an energy relief supplement

In Sacramento County, California, 200 families will soon begin receiving $725/month for a full year under the Families First Economic Stability Pilot (FFESP).

Who qualifies?

  • Families with children aged 0–5

  • Living in designated ZIP codes

  • Earning at or below 200% of the federal poverty level

Best part: FFESP funds won’t affect your eligibility for programs like CalWORKs, Medi-Cal, or CalFresh.

 

Pennsylvania: Up to $1,000 Back in Rent or Tax Rebates

If you paid rent or property taxes in Pennsylvania during 2024, you may be eligible for a refund of up to $1,000 through the state’s Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program.

Who’s eligible?

  • Adults 65+

  • Widows/widowers aged 50+

  • Disabled individuals aged 18+

  • Annual income must be ≤ $46,520 (excluding Social Security)

Rebate amounts:

  • $1,000 for income ≤ $8,270

  • $770 for income $8,271–$15,510

  • Bonus rebates of $190–$500 for residents of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Scranton

How to apply:

  • Submit your documents and application by June 30, 2025

  • You’ll need proof of income and rent or property ownership documents
