Social Security Payments September 2025: Who Gets Paid on Wednesday, Sept. 17?

Social Security remains a financial lifeline for millions of retirees, disabled workers, and their families.

Knowing the exact payment date helps seniors and families budget for essentials like rent, groceries, utilities, and healthcare, especially during a time when inflation and tariffs continue to push everyday costs higher.

In September 2025, the Social Security Administration (SSA) continues its regular payment schedule, with deposits tied to beneficiaries’ dates of birth.

One key date this month is Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
